Revelation 13:16-18 (NIV) It (the false prophet) also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.
Revelation 20:4-5 (NIV) I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
The mark of the beast, whether it be a micro-chip embedded just under your skin, a tattoo or new technology yet to be developed, will be forced on everyone in the world by the false prophet. No longer will you have to carry money or credit cards to access your funds. Digital currency withdrawals will be as easy as placing your forehead or right hand up to a scanner.
This technology exists today! Countries have been rolling out digital currency for years with the goal of creating a cashless economy. At some point all countries will create a digital currency capable of transmitting transactions around the world via the internet. This technology will allow transactions to be completed instantaneously instead of taking days with paper money. What a great idea!
But there is a catch. Digital currency is the foundation for the “666” economic system. There is currently nothing wrong with using or investing in digital currency. But there are consequences once the false prophet forces the world to use digital currency with the penalty of death for not accepting the mark. Those who choose to accept the mark of the beast may not be able to enter the pearly gates of heaven because they have chosen to align themselves with the Antichrist instead of God. The decision whether to get the mark has just become more complicated. What decision will you make? Without the mark you cannot buy food, medicine, or make a house payment. How will you take care of your family? You will lose everything overnight. What decision will you make?
